What to do before and after sessions?

It is important to prepare your skin well before the session and to follow some precautions after. Here are some tips for before and after an "Alexandrite" hair removal session:

Before the session:

Avoid exposure to the sun : For at least 2 weeks before the session, avoid any excessive exposure to the sun.
Avoid irritating products : Do not put creams, lotions, or self-tanners on the skin before the session.
Do not wax : Waxing removes the hair from the root, which prevents the laser light from effectively targeting the hair follicle.

After the session:

Avoid exposure to the sun : After hair removal, your skin will be more sensitive. It is crucial to avoid any direct exposure to the sun for at least 2 weeks. Use a high SPF sunscreen if you need to go out.
Hydrate the skin well : Apply a soothing and moisturizing cream after the session. This will help reduce redness and calm the skin.
Avoid aggressive products : For 2 to 3 days after hair removal, do not put on products containing alcohol, perfumes or irritating active ingredients (such as glycolic acid).
Do not touch or scratch the area : Avoid rubbing, scratching or exposing the area to excessive pressure after the session.
Avoid hot baths and saunas : High temperatures can irritate your skin after a laser session, so wait a few days before exposing yourself to such conditions.
Do not wax or pluck : Let the hairs fall out naturally. Do not remove them with wax or tweezers.
